We're pleased to say that the phone line for the library at Colchester General has at long last been fixed. So please feel free to call us on 01206 742146 with all your information queries.

Chaos at Colchester

The phone line at Colchester is out of order, although it is still possible to leave voicemail messages which we are able to pick up from another line. You can always email your query - library.services@essexrivers.nhs.uk. BT are aware of the issue and are working hard to fix it.

On a slightly different note we've just taken delivery of a brand new, digital, full colour copier/printer. We are waiting for a new network point so that the machine will print from any PC in the library, a replacement system for charging, and some software to ensure it all runs smoothly. Please bear with us as we work to get it all up and running.

Easter

The library at Colchester General Hospital will be closed over the long Easter weekend - 6th to 9th April inclusive.

Essex Rivers staff can always make use of the PCs in the restaurant at Colchester General Hospital, and, of course, all your online services will available while we're closed.
